Application Instructions

To make sure your stickers stick perfectly, follow these four easy steps!

1. Prep Your Surface and Pre-Squeegee Your UV-DTF Sticker

Prep the Surface: Clean the area where you’ll apply your sticker using soap and water or a 50/50 mix of rubbing alcohol and water. The cleaner the surface, the longer your sticker will hold up against the elements. While it’ll still stick without this step, we highly recommend it for maximum durability.

Pre-Squeegee: Once you’ve cut out your sticker or decal, place it design-side down (white side up). Using the padded end of your squeegee, press firmly and run it over the entire design 2-4 times. Pay extra attention to any thin or separated parts, like small text—those need a little more love!

2. Separate the Clear Carrier Sheet from the White Backing

To get started, make a small tear in the white backing, away from the design. Slowly peel back the clear carrier sheet, keeping an eye on the design to make sure it all lifts off the backing. Remember, we say in the Dojo—don’t peel with your hands, peel with your eyes! The more delicate the design, the slower you should go. If any part doesn’t lift, re-squeegee and peel from a new angle. You’ll get the hang of it with practice!

3. Place Your UV-DTF Sticker on Your Item

Pick the perfect spot for your sticker!

For small designs (under 4 inches), use both hands to carefully place the sticker exactly where you want it.

For larger designs (6 inches and up), start at one side and work your way across. This helps prevent bubbles and keeps the design from shifting. Pro tip: Leave one corner of the carrier sheet loose so it’s easier to peel off later.

4. Finish the Transfer Process

Once your sticker is in place, firmly squeegee over the design 2-4 times. As you peel the carrier sheet away, go slow and make sure all parts are sticking. And remember—use your eyes, not just your hands! If any part isn’t adhering, press the carrier sheet back down, squeegee again, and peel from another angle.

Refunds & Reprints

Contact us within 15 days of receiving your order to submit a request for a refund or reprint. We will reprint any order where there is a print quality or adherence issue. However, we will not issue a reprint if the uploaded file is low quality. If you'd like a refund or reprint for another reason, it must be approved by management first.

Art Upload Recommendations

All file types accepted, vector files are always preferred, raster art should be at least 300 DPI.
